Meet the family behind Mr. Steam Carpet Cleaning - Portland, Oregon
Thanks for taking a minute to learn more about us!
We're Kris and Nicole, owners of Mr. Steam Carpet Cleaning. We're raising five very active sons, and have called the Portland area home since our families moved here when we were kids.
Carpet cleaning has been part of our family's story for a long time. Kris spent a decade working as a cleaning technician for small, Portland area family-owned companies before we had the opportunity to purchase Mr. Steam in 2020.
Nicole came to Mr. Steam with a different background as a master-certified wellness coach and entrepreneur. Together, we took the leap and became the owners of Mr. Steam Carpet Cleaning on November 13, 2020.
Today, we bring years of residential and commercial carpet cleaning and customer service experience to the homes and businesses we serve.
How We Clean
We specialize in hot water extraction, often called steam cleaning, using professional truck-mounted equipment.
This method allows us to thoroughly clean carpet by applying heated cleaning solution and extracting the soil, moisture and contaminants from the carpet.
We also have years of experience with low-moisture encapsulation cleaning.
It's especially useful for commercial properties and locations where truck-mounted hot water extraction and the hoses required aren't practical.
We use earth-friendly, effective cleaning products and are committed to providing honest, professional service. We want to be the kind of company you're comfortable welcoming into your home or business — and happy to recommend to your friends and family.
A Local Company That Values Service
We offer Saturday appointments and a 10% senior discount beginning at age 62.
Active and retired military families and first responders also receive a standing 10% discount as our way of recognizing those who serve their communities and our country.
Whether you're looking for residential or commercial carpet cleaning, our goal is simple: provide experienced, friendly service, communicate honestly, and do excellent work.
